About Finn Physio

Finn Physio specializes in treatment within the home environment reducing dependency on others for transportation to a clinic setting. More importantly, any problems with everyday activities can be assessed and treated within the environment in which they occur.

Sara Finn is a specialist rehabilitation physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience working in London, Australia and Israel which includes managing the physios on a ward in Beit Loewenstein. She successfully completed an MSc in neuro-rehabilitation from Brunel University in London in 2012 with Merit. She has worked in hospitals, private clinics and old age homes and specialises in neurological, orthopaedic and elderly rehabilitation. Since finishing her Masters degree she now combines up to date evidence based approaches especially regarding brain plasticity such as constraint induced movement therapy or Forced non use (CIMT) and mirror therapy with the more traditional methods of Bobath and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF).

In addition, Sara has extensive experience treating both orthopaedic and neurological problems in water (hydrotherapy) and has the use of a pool in the Sharon area.

שרה פין הינה פיזיותרפיסטית המתמחה בשיקום ניורולוגי ובעלת נסיון של למעלה מ-20 שנה בעבודה בארץ, באנגליה ובאוסטרליה ובין היתר גם נהלה מחלקה בבית לוינשטיין ברעננה. שרה בעלת תואר שני בפיזיותרפיה ושיקום נוירולוגי (MSc Neuro-Rehabilitation) מאונברסיטת Brunel היוקרתית בלונדון. לשרה נסיון עשיר אשר רכשה במהלך עבודתה בבתי חולים, קליניקות פרטיות וכן בתי אבות והיא מתמחה בשיקום נוירולוגי, אורטופדי וגריאטרי. מאז סיימה את התואר השני ב-2012 היא משלבת גישות מודרניות ומבוססות מחקרים בעיקר סביב "גמישות המוח" כגון CIMT (Forced Non-Use) ו- Mirror Therapy (תרפיית מראה), LSVT BIG למטפלי פרקינסון, ועכשיו מציגה סד חדש בארץ מארצות הברית – saeboflex לידיים אחרי ארוע מוחי, זאת לצד שיטות טיפול מסורתיות יותר כגון Bobath (בובאט) ו- proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF). כמו כן לשרה ידע ונסיון רב בטיפולים נוירולוגיים ואורטופדיים במים (הידרותרפיה) בבריכה טיפולית ויש לה גישה לבריכה באיזור השרון לצורך זה.

Sara Finn is a rehabilitation physiotherapist who completed her physiotherapy degree from St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1992 then a Masters degree in neuro-rehabilitation from Brunel University, London in 2012. She specialises in neurological and elderly rehabilitation and hydrotherapy.

General information

Sara made Aliya from England in 1996, returned to live in London in 2006 until she returned to Israel for good in 2012. She lives in Tel Mond with her husband and three children.
